Ms Yeshey Dolma offering ‘khata’, traditional Tibetan scarf to our donors.

Tibet Charity observed World Blood Donors Day on 14th June 2016. A series of programs was organised to mark the day.

In the morning, donors recruitment camp was organized in the main square of Mcleodganj. This was deemed necessary as many of our initial members of the Blood Donors Club have moved to places outside Dharamsala causing great inconvenience in the times of urgent need. We are happy to note that many new members registered. These people have volunteered to make the supreme sacrifice in order to save precious human lives. We welcome them to our Club with heartfelt gratitude.

In the evening, a special thanksgiving dinner was organised to honour and thank all our kind donors who have come forward to donate blood thereby saving precious human lives. Ms Yeshey Dolma, officiating Director offered traditional Tibetan scarf to each of our valued guests. She thanked them on behalf of Tibet Charity and on behalf of all those who have been beneficiaries of their kind gesture.

We once again thank all the members of Tibet Charity Blood Donors Day, both all and new, for joining us in our endeavour to help others in need.

More recruitment camps shall be organised in the days to come at various locations around Dharamsala and we request more people to join us.
