As the Tibetan New Year (Losar) approaches, it is a time for family, celebration and abundance. However, for many in our community – especially our secluded hermit monks and nuns and elderly individuals living alone – this festive season can be lonely and difficult time without the means to prepare traditional meals. At Tibet Charity, we believe no one should forgotten during our most auspicious festival. Yesterday, on February 12th, 2026, we successfully completed our Losar Ration Distribution, reaching out to approximately 40 beneficiaries.
Our team delivered essential food supplies and festive rations to ensure that these precious elders and practitioners – many of whom have no family to turn to – have everything they need to celebrate Losar with dignity and a full heart. For them, these supplies are more than just food; they are a warm reminders that their community stands with them.
