With the generous financial support of Execushield Inc., USA and The Tibet Fund, Tibet Charity has successfully completed its annual health check-up program for 61 elderly hermits and other underprivileged beneficiaries.

This annual initiative continues to demonstrate the life-changing value of preventive healthcare. Comprehensive blood tests, ultrasound examinations, and medical consultations helped identify several health conditions at an early stage, including gallstones, small kidney stones, previously undiagnosed diabetes, and fatty liver disease. Early diagnosis enables timely treatment, preventing these conditions from becoming more serious and improving the long-term health of our beneficiaries.

The impact of regular annual screening was especially encouraging this year. Several beneficiaries who were diagnosed with Grade II fatty liver last year had improved to Grade I, while many who previously had Grade I fatty liver showed no evidence of fatty liver this year. These improvements highlight the importance of regular health monitoring, appropriate treatment, and healthier lifestyle choices.

Unlike previous years, this year’s program also included the invaluable support of the doctors at Delek Hospital, who personally reviewed every blood test and ultrasound report with each patient. They explained the findings in detail and provided individualized medical advice and follow-up recommendations, ensuring that beneficiaries fully understood their health conditions and the care they require.

Our commitment extends beyond the health check-up itself. Beneficiaries who require long-term medication will continue to receive essential medicines free of cost, helping them manage their conditions without financial hardship.
