I am Tenzin Woeser. I live in Tibetan Settlement Mundgod.
I have completed three and half years’ Nursing Course from St. Martha’s Hospital, Bangalore. After completing the full course of studies, I have got a job as a Nurse in the department of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Philomina Hospital in Bangalore.
Whatever I have achieved thus far, after completing my school is all because of the kind support I have received from Tibet Charity Denmark and India. I am very grateful to Tibet Charity for starting such a wonderful program as the scholarship program. I thank Tibet Charity Denmark for kindly helping me to find support for my nursing course and I thank my sponsor for the financial support. Without the support I have received from them, I might still be struggling to find the right path in life.
Thanks to them, I am now in a position to support myself and possibly my family in the future.
I promise to do my best in my job and help the patients under my care with greatest love and compassion.
I once again thank all those concerned with the scholarship program as it gives a ray of hope to many Tibetans like me whose life could become directionless if not for the support.
I wish you all the very best of health and I shall always pray for the success of your organization in your endeavor to help others.
Tenzin Woeser (TCS-30)
Nurse, St. Philomina Hospital
Note: Tibet Charity India thank TC Denmark and the individual sponsor for their wonderful support. This is a story of one more student being in a position to stand on her own feet because of the scholarship program.
