Tibet Charity English language classes 1st semester closes with a simple function on 8th July, marking the dedication of our teachers and the students.  The function was attended by our three outgoing volunteer teachers: Irene Atichison from Canada, Sahra Robert from England, Joanne Zions from Australia, our students, a group of 16 students with their teachers from Rugby school, England and Tibet Charity’s staff.

It began with an opening speech by Ms Tsephel, Coordinator. She thanked the three volunteer teachers for their unconditional support and dedication. She also mentioned Dorite who had taught Intermediate class for two months but couldn’t attend the function. She thanked her as well. It was followed by the presentation of prizes to the top two students in each class.  Teacher share their experiences in Tibet Charity and Irene has mentioned that she had taught in many different communities and she said she has never encountered dedicated students like in Tibet Charity. All of them thanked the institution for the opportunity and wished good luck to their students. Students didn’t stand back; they have also shared their experiences in Tibet Charity and thanked their teachers for all their support. Mrs. Olga Koriakima from Sakha(Russia), who has studied in  our Elementary class,  gave a performance by playing a traditional Sakha musical instrument.

Ms.Yeshey Dolma on behalf of Mr. Tsering Thundup, Director honored our volunteers with memento and scarves as a token of our love and appreciation for their kind service. She also expressed gratitude to our teachers without whom our classes wouldn’t have been possible.

The new session starts from 20th July 2016
