Members of Save Tibet Austria, a very close and old friend of Tibet Charity India, visited us in spite of their highly busy schedule.

On 5th October, they visited the office of Tibet Charity and discussed some of the ongoing projects. They presently support some elderly Tibetans and provide scholarship to Tibetan students to pursue higher studies. They also make some contribution in paying the rent of the building that houses Tibet Charity. During the meeting, Free Ambulance Service at Bodh Gaya for the pilgrims from Tibet during the Kalachakra Initiation was discussed and they agreed to bear 50% of the estimated budget. The remaining 50% has been approved by Tibet Charity Denmark.

On 7th October, we invited them for a dinner with all the staff of Tibet Charity. The dinner enabled them to see the real faces behind the good works of Tibet Charity. It also allowed the staff of Tibet Charity to meet our great friends in person. The Director recalled the camaraderie Tibet Charity shared with Elisabeth Zimmerman and other members of Save Tibet Austria. He explained in details all the supports we have received from them till date and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for their continuous help. They in turn expressed their appreciation of the good works of Tibet Charity. They said that it was a great joy working with Tibet Charity and admired the innovative programs initiated by Tibet Charity such as Home Nursing, Blood Donation, Open School and Animal Care programs.

On 17th, they paid a short visit to the Animal Care Section of Tibet Charity. The staff there received and showed them around. They were highly impressed by the dedication and compassion of the staff at the clinic towards the animals.

We once again thank them for the time taken by them to meet us, not once but thrice, in spite of their packed schedule. This clearly manifests the strength of our relationship.

We wish them happy stay for the rest of their time in India and wish them safe journey back home.
