Tibet charity has organized an excursion for our dedicated volunteer teachers who have been working uncompromisingly for our students this semester. We had David and Irean who was visiting Tibetan settlements and schools for the first time along with our Volunteer Coordinator. They visited Tibetan settlements of Chauntra and Bir and a local Tibetan school, CST Chauntra.
Our two volunteer English teachers enjoyed being part of the school’s English Language Day program where the students were presenting their book reviews and class group songs. Our teachers enjoyed their time visiting classrooms and visiting monastic institutions.
After enjoying a delightful lunch in a restaurant in Bir, they looked around the Tibetan shops and later visited Tashijong Monastry.
The teachers really cherished a fun day out and Tibet Charity was equally grateful to be able to offer such an excursion.
We thank Tibet Charity Denmark for kindly supporting this excursion. This is a small way of saying thank you to our kind volunteers who use their time and money to be of some help to the new comers from Tibet.
