A 3 day Animal Birth Control (ABC) and Anti-Rabies (A-R) vaccination camp for stray dogs was arranged at TCV, Gopalpur. With support and coordination from the staff and most importantly students, 22 dogs( 12 females, 10 males) were sterilized and more than 40 dogs vaccinated.

Students caught the dogs, as the dogs were friendly and comfortable in their presence.. We also had volunteer students who helped our staff at the camp.

We thank the school administration for allowing us to perform surgeries at the warehouse and arranging help to our TCACS staff when required. We are very happy that the school has decided to go the humane way in controlling dog population rather than catching them and dumping them elsewhere.

We also thank Brigitte Bardot Foundation, France with whose financial assistance we have succeeded in organizing this camp and many such camps in the past.
