On receiving an information about a suspected rabid dog biting number of dogs in the Tibetan Children’s Village school, our vet team supported by a volunteer vet from Denmark rushed to the school to vaccinate all dogs in their compound. With the help of some of the school staff and children, we succeeded in vaccinating 123 dogs. Dogs which received serious bites were brought to the clinic to be put under observation for few days. We treated this as urgent as these dogs are mostly looked after by school children and played with them. We thank the staff and the children who were with us throughout the time we were there.
